Jake Loveday
BIM Manager
Jake supports all our designers across the practice in delivering our BIM strategy. He provides training and coordinates day to day on all design matters relating to REVIT.

Hardwood furniture maker and retained firefighter, Jake has been working in live events for over 25 years. He was Technical Manager at the Lemon Tree, Aberdeen for 5 years, working on a mixed program of Live music, Theatre, Comedy & Dance. He also worked in technical design at His Majesties Theatre in Aberdeen.
He has been a freelance sound engineer and stage manager working on all sizes of music events in London and around Europe. More recently he has worked on Jazz concerts at the Blue Lamp in Aberdeen and as production manager and engineer at the Shetland Folk festival.
After obtaining his degree, Jake worked as a research assistant at RGU in Aberdeen on a large-scale laser scanning and digital modelling project for Aberdeen City council. This involved developing new techniques and workflows in point cloud scanning and BIM modelling on a city-wide project.
Jake consultancy work with Charcoalblue includes Aviva Studios (Factory International) in Manchester, Colston Hall in Bristol and the Bolton Octagon.
