Mark has 20 years of experience work in live theatre, dance, opera and system design. After starting his career in theme park entertainment, Mark earned his BFA in Theatrical Lighting Design from the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University, and has gone on to design shows across the US. Eventually he landed at the San Francisco Opera working as the Associate Lighting Director where he had an incredible time producing opera in rotating repertory and opening the Opera's new venue, the Wilsey Center for Opera. Before joining the Charcoalblue team, Mark was a senior designer for Lightswitch where he managed the design and execution of theatrical lighting and control systems for big tech campus venues.
