Event Space Design Manager
Emily is an Event Space Design Manager responsible for delivering quality event spaces that optimize operations, hospitality, and user experience.
Since 2008, Emily has been working in theatrical production and events as a production manager, stage manager, producer, and creative collaborator. Specializing in immersive performance, festival environments, and technical production, she has toured nationally and internationally as a Production Manager with The Wooster Group, Michelle Ellsworth, Andrew Schneider, Pig Iron Theatre Co, and rainpan43, amongst others.
Working at dozens of event spaces around the world, Emily developed an appreciation for high-performing venues and a robust flexible skill set in management, design technology, and creative problem-solving. She developed her critical expertise in these subjects through academia, teaching courses and developing curriculums in collaboration, production, theatrical technology, and digital performance at Williams College and New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
Emily applies her skills as a highly technical, adaptable manager to deliver incredible spaces and experiences for Charcoalblue’s clients.
