After graduating from the University of Exeter with a BA in History and French, Ayesha worked for a social enterprise called Creative Access to support and enable ethnically diverse individuals to thrive and grow in the creative industries. During her time at Creative Access, she coordinated diversity and inclusion, mental health and leadership training across creative sectors such as theatre, museum and art galleries, publishing and TV.
Outside of work, Ayesha volunteers her time to a range of organisations, coordinating a mentoring programme for Muslim women and advocating for refugee rights and mental health rights for young people. In her spare time, you can find her starting a creative project with her crochet needle or sewing machine, out and about in nature or on an adventure abroad.
Ayesha’s interest in theatre started in high school where she took part in the school production, whether that be playing her flute in the orchestra or in the costume department. Now that she is based in London, Ayesha’s love for theatre translates into visiting as many theatre shows as she can!
