Joe consults on all aspects of technical systems design, specialising in stage engineering systems.
Joe joins Charcoalblue with a wealth of theatre production experience, from touring and venue base technical management. Having previously worked as Senior Technical and Operations Manager for Bristol based Circus school Circomedia, Joe has a specialism in circus rigging and production. Over eight years of technical management Joe helped transform Circomedias’ St. Pauls’ Church venue into one of Bristol’s most technically versatile training and performance centres.
Joe has also worked extensively as an NCR production rigger and spent many years looking down from the roofs of tall buildings.
Joe’s consultancy work for Charcoalblue includes Bristol’s Colston Hall, Southern Repertory Theatre in New Orleans and the Round House Theatre in Bethesda, MD.
