Meet the Team

Lucinda Kent

Marketing Manager

I’m the Marketing Manager at Charcoalblue, leading global strategy and execution across brand, PR, and marketing. I approach marketing with curiosity and agility because it’s constantly evolving. Whether you notice it or not, marketing quietly shapes how we connect with the world around us, so I believe marketers have a responsibility to make it as honest, authentic, and trustworthy as possible. The beauty of working at Charcoalblue is that this comes naturally. The work speaks for itself — I simply help translate it for our audiences. As a marketer, that’s a dream: endless stories to tell, ideas to explore, and opportunities to celebrate creativity while contributing to the rich and evolving story of the practice.

What You Hope People Feel in a Space You’ve Worked On

Time is our greatest currency, so my goal is always to make the stories we tell feel worth someone’s time. While I don’t design the spaces themselves, I help shape how people experience and connect with the work behind them. Whether it’s a story, image, or idea, I hope something lingers — a feeling of curiosity, inspiration, or connection. If people come away feeling like their time was well spent… that feels like success to me.

Coffee, Travel, or Creative Ritual

Coffee and a walk first thing in the morning are the recipe for a successful day ahead. But the coffee has to be in a nice mug… it spoils the taste otherwise! 😉

Cultural Value That Guides Engagement with Others

Creativity and Innovation are probably the values that guide me most in how I work with others. Creativity has no limits, which means there’s always something new to learn. Some of the best ideas come from unexpected places, so I genuinely value hearing different perspectives, whether from teammates, collaborators, or stakeholders. One of the biggest mistakes anyone can make is assuming they already know everything. The strongest work comes from collective thinking — people challenging ideas, building on them, and bringing different experiences to the table. That mindset shapes how I approach collaboration every day: openly, creatively, and with the belief that we’re always better when we work together.
