As an Assistant Experience Consultant, I support Charcoalblue Experience (CBX) projects in the Americas West region, focusing on project development for events, executive briefings, activations, and collaboration spaces. My day-to-day work includes providing assistance in design management, documentation review, client project initiatives, and architectural projects from concept to delivery. As an Industrial Designer, I am drawn to the narrative potential of immersive environments. I enjoy translating thematic concepts and finding solutions to bring a practical, experiential space to life. My background in theater, retail, event, and entertainment production design allows me to bring an interdisciplinary perspective and collaborative approach to creative projects.

What You Hope People Feel in a Space You’ve Worked On

I strive to create approachable environments that encourage visitors to take their time. I personally enjoy places where I feel comfortable “dwelling” – going at my own pace when I can spend time appreciating the styling and perhaps the sensory whimsy of the designed space. My hope is to create environments that inspire visitors to come back and invite their loved ones to share their time in the space together.

Other (Free Write)

One thing to know about me is that I adore birds. My pet cockatiel Beans may sometimes voice his opinions while I am on a call. I haven’t necessarily deep-dived into birding (yet) but I am a big fan of my local pigeons, sparrows, hummingbirds, and crows.

Cultural Value You Most Identify With

I believe collaborative settings are key when approaching challenges, especially in cross-functional initiatives. Multiple perspectives are especially helpful in discovering creative solutions and ensuring re-alignment is most effectively executed. I’ve been fortunate to have had many opportunities to hear how specialties outside of my experience would consider a project, which have greatly helped me become more adaptable in facing new situations.
