Emma joined Charcoalblue having spent more than a decade working in the theatre industry with many notable commissions as a Lighting Designer including Kiss Me Kate for Paris’ Theatre du Chatelet and The Mountaintop at Trafalgar Studios 2.

Emma co-designed Paines Plough’s pop-up theatre, Roundabout, with Lucy Osbourne which went on to win Theatre Building of the Year at The Stage Awards in 2015. Following the success of Roundabout Emma and Lucy founded Studio Three Sixty which launched new temporary venue The Mix to the market.

Emma’s consultancy work with Charcoalblue includes major refurbishments for Theatr Clywyd, Croydon High School and the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton as well as an exciting new space for the Boulevard Theatre in London.
