Siân attended Bedazzle Performing Arts School from a young age, going on to progress through their Advanced Dance Company and ‘4th Wall’ Advanced Theatre Group. She studied A Levels in Music, Art and Performing Arts at Hills Road Sixth Form College in Cambridge, in which she spent two years examining the works of classical and contemporary playwrights, choreographers and musicians. Whilst there, she enjoyed devising and directing her own work alongside fellow students.
Siân decided to further her studies by attending Aberystwyth University, where she gained a degree in Performance and Theatre Studies. During her time there, Siân continued to devise her own work, as well as playing roles such as ‘Millamant’ in William Congreve’s restoration comedy The Way of The World. After working with Jennifer S. Hartley in her final year at University, Siân developed a keen interest in ‘Applied Theatre’, spurring a desire to encourage the importance of Theatre both on and off the stage.
Siân gained previous experience working in an administrative position when she took on the role of Assistant Finance Officer at a secondary school for three months. In addition to her interests in Theatre, Siân has always been involved in sports, competing for netball and rugby teams throughout school and university and continuing to do so now.
