Lauren is currently the Summer 2026 Theatre Consulting Intern in the New York Studio. Her focus is on developing a well rounded understanding to all the theatre consulting disciplines, with a special interest towards stage engineering and theatre design.

If you were to establish your own venue, what would you call it?
If I were to establish my own venue, I would call it “The Grove.” To me, this sounds very welcoming and down to earth for the community while channeling creativity for the performers. I would have this venue specialize in live music, as it brings in a wide variety of patrons. For me, though, music is such a powerful and emotional art, and I’d like my venue to compliment that. Performance spaces should feel welcoming and have a positive impact on the surrounding community. At the same time, the venue should be a compliment to the performance and therefore turn the entertainment into an experience.
