Gabriel has a background in music performance, technical theater, live audio engineering, and audio recording and mixing. In performance venues, he has worked as a general stagehand, house manager, stage manager, lighting technician, audio technician, and department supervisor, and is a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE). Gabriel has worked in many production environments, from Blues Clubs and Cabaret Theaters, to Recording Studios, to Broadcast Control Rooms, Concert Halls, and on Broadway.
Gabriel's theater Sound Design experience led him in a different direction when an opportunity to become a system engineer and project manager for permanent AV installations arose. A nearly four year period in the Construction world opened a path to AV consultancy. Gabriel has entered his sixth year in AV consulting, and continues to Sound Design for theater, and provide Production Audio Direction for university theater productions.
