Dorica Santos

Dorica graduated in Architecture from the Glasgow School of Art. She combines her personal experiences and interests to shape her design process and development. As someone with a disability, Dorica is passionate about ensuring that theatre design is inclusive and accessible to everyone.

Dorica has previously worked in offices based in London and Copenhagen, as well as in roles focused on design and live builds. She was an active member of the European Architecture Students’ Assembly (EASA) community, attending annual meetings to promote innovative architecture and education across Europe.

Dorica is also a radio DJ for community stations across the UK. Her skills and knowledge in radio and live music enabled her to re-establish a student radio station, create set designs for live gigs, and perform at various venues.

At Charcoalblue, Dorica continues to develop the skills and knowledge to become a successful theatre designer.
