What's the greatest lesson you've learnt as a Theatre Consultant?

It’s all about collaboration – talking through ideas to find innovative solutions.

What first sparked your love of theatre or performing arts?

Theatre and performing arts are in my blood! My mum is a costume designer and maker, my dad ran a circus theatre and my grandparents were passionately involved in amateur dramatics. Programming my first big show in the Olivier Theatre was definitely an exciting highlight of my career.

As an experienced lighting designer, do you have a favourite colour filter?

I’m a fan of L201, it’s featured in almost every one of my lighting designs. I love the way the stage can be lit using one colour, with layers and depth created using intensity.
