Andy Felix

He started his career with a degree in Sound, Light and live event technology from the university of Derby following this Andy cut his teeth in various regional theatres and touring shows in different technical and operational roles with a focus on Audio. Moving from theatre into Integration Andy has spent the past 9 years at AV integrators, SFL Group, now know as d&b Solutions. Starting in technical design and moving into Project Management he has led major projects including the Royal Albert Hall audio and fibre upgrades, Harlow Playhouse Audio Installation, and installations at KOKO, Under The Bridge, and the Institute of Contemporary Arts. A Large focus of SFL was delivering AV systems into historical sensitive buildings, Andy has a great deal of experience working with grade listed houses of worship and has installed systems in to numerous venues including Hull Minster, Kings College Chapel Cambridge, St Stephen Walbrook, St Nicholas Bristol and St Mary's Hampton. At d&b Solutions UK, Andy managed high-profile projects for McLaren Technology Centre & McLaren Creative Centre, Bloomberg, and the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, overseeing design, engineering, and commissioning for multi-million-pound AV budgets. His expertise spans technical design, team leadership, client engagement, and health and safety compliance, with a proven track record of innovation and problem-solving in acoustically challenging environments.
