Main Responsibilities
To provide consultancy in all aspects of room acoustics and noise and vibration design for the performing arts, including major arts centres, university buildings, outdoor venues, and school auditoria. As well as performing arts venues, Byron has managed acoustic projects for restaurants, conference centres, and convention centres. He has also carried out historic renovations and undertaken environmental noise surveys.

Qualifications
BS in Engineering,  Acoustics & Music (Summa Cum Laude), - University of Hartford, USA.
First Honors, ASA Student Design Competition, 2001.

Professional Associations
LEED Accredited Professional (US Green Building Council).
Acoustical Society of America (co-chair Student Design Competition 2004-2009).

Experience
Eight years’ experience as acoustics consultant at Talaske - beginning as an intern and rising through the ranks to Senior Consultant by 2006.

Teaching
Guest lectures at Illinois Institute of Art, Columbia College, Goshen College, University of Nebraska, Judson College, Latin School of Chicago.
