Project summary
The Jewish Community Centre (JCC) aims to create an inclusive gateway to all things Jewish, where Jews of every stripe, young and old, orthodox and secular, can encounter other Jews.
The JCC’s programme embraces Arts, Culture, Debate, Food & Drink, Nightlife, Health & Fitness, and Family – all with a Jewish flavour, and in a Jewish context.
The new building will be modern, forward thinking and fun, filled with events and activities that invigorate Jewish life and turn up the Jewish volume. Through a programme of events and through the new community centre building, the JCC will aim to transform the lives of the tens of thousands of Jews who live in London.
Charcoalblue has advised on the design of the multi-purpose hall and on the performance-related technical provision throughout the building, and is ovrseeing the works on site during construction.
